Andrews & Cole consulting engagements range from 3 to 24 months, with an average duration of 9 months. You can largely decide which projects to take on, when and where you want to work. Many of our assignments cap at 40 hours/week, and others might require 50 hours/week at year-end, but never are you working 60 hours/week for weeks on end.  ​

Consultant manages all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, and month-end close, while driving process automation. Given the traditional turnover in this role, company has elected to outsource this function to Andrews & Cole. 

​Director of Financial Reporting, 3 Months Extended to 18 Months | $700M Publicly Held Energy Firm 
Director was initially hired for a 3-month assignment in Technical Accounting, then supported Revenue Accounting to clear an AR/collections backlog before then leading the implementation of new lease accounting standard. Spent the last 5 months in financial reporting for year end and audit related work. 

Financial Analyst, 4 Months (Hired by client) | $100M PE Backed Advisory Firm  
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst supported company-wide analysis and planning needs, prepared monthly financial management reports, developed annual budgets and forecasts, as well as financial metrics to measure company performance.  

Interim CFO, 12 Months | $30M Healthcare NFP 
The Interim CFO directed all finance and accounting for the organization, collaborated with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies across the organization, ensured compliance with all financial regulatory requirements and external reporting. Developed annual operating and capital budgets.   

Interim Assistant Controller, 10 Months | $500M Publicly Held Biotech 
This consultant managed post-acquisition ERP integration activities and data migration. Developed multi-company consolidation policies and procedures. Implemented general ledger close process improvements. Managed teams responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll.  

Finance Manager, 3 Months Extended to 8 Months | Fortune 500 Biotech 
Working with the Controller, this consultant led all processes related to analysis of monthly results, reviewed accounting entries, prepared forecasts and budgets, and provided data analytics, utilizing several systems. Supported business unit leaders with ad hoc analysis. Managed team of two.   

Interim VP, Finance/Controller, 8 Months | $25M Media Firm 
The Interim VP, Finance/Controller helped manage the integration of a newly acquired company including migrating from QB to NetSuite, managing staff, and providing financial reporting support to corporate team.  

​Accountant, 3 Months (Hired by client) | $700M Energy Firm 
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant supported monthly corporate accounting 
activities, reviewed allocations, prepared monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including Statement of Cash Flow. 

Interim Director of Finance, Hired by Client After 3 Months | $80M Pre-Public Government Contractor 
Working with the EVP of Finance and CFO, this consultant analyzed financial data and created financial models for decision support. Created budget and forecast templates and tracked indirect rates & KPIs. Assisted with migrating data into Unanet, and documenting/aligning financial processes for recent acquisitions. 

Interim Tax Director, 5 Years | $200M Publicly Held Biotech 
This consultant has supported the Tax Director with compliance and planning in addition to providing support for staffing gaps in reporting, budgeting, and corporate accounting. This client referred to consultant as “The Best Utility Player”. ​
