With her trademark energy and dedication, Ivonne has quickly become known for her ability to build strong connections and deliver results, earning her the A&C team’s vote as our One Team Star of the Quarter. 

What’s your favorite productivity hack?
Organizing, exercising, and prioritizing! I’m very structured – up at 5:30am every morning with a list for the morning and afternoon. Between 5–8am., I organize, exercise my mind and body, and prioritize my day. By 8am, I’ve already accomplished so much, which helps me make the rest of the day work.

I also block out 1–2 hours every morning to focus on what we call “closest to the dollar,” roles that are moving quickly, working with top candidates, and connecting with clients for updates. That focus time sets the tone for the rest of my day and helps me concentrate my time on what’s moving forward.

How would you describe Andrews & Cole in three words?
Polished, trusted, impactful. It’s a firm known for its professionalism, reputation, and personal touch. Everyone here is so detail-oriented and respected. I think our approach is unique because it combines credibility with a very personal connection.

What’s your recruiting superpower?
Building trust. I focus on honest, personal communication with candidates and clients. I really get to know them, and they get to know me. That genuine connection is key to building a long-lasting and successful partnership. 

What do you love most about recruiting?
People - I love working with them, talking to them, and helping them. It’s a people business, and I enjoy making the right match between a candidate and a client; it can truly change someone’s life.

I also love that I’m constantly learning. Every day brings new industries, new jobs, and learning opportunities. And I have incredible colleagues who make me better and challenge me in the best way.

What motivates you to come to work every day?
I’m incredibly passionate about what I do. Honestly, these last 7 or 8 months have been some of the hardest I’ve worked, but also the most fun I’ve ever had. It doesn’t even feel like a job to me, and I believe that success is all about wanting it. Nothing is impossible; you can do anything you want as long as you put in the hard work.

Working here at A&C has been so wonderful. When you come here, you’re walking into an amazing place with amazing people and resources. We have so much support and we have great jobs with great clients. I am thrilled to be here. 

What’s on your travel bucket list?
Fiji is at the top of my list! I love traveling. Some of my favorite places are Colorado, Europe, and South Africa, and I look forward to exploring new destinations.

What would your job be in another life?
Professional party planner.
